Languagecorner.eu is an independent resource for people who want to learn a new language. We cover over 80 languages and help learners find courses, apps, and methods that actually work. No matter if you are just starting out or already have some experience, our goal is to point you in the right direction.
„We started this site because we were tired of flashy marketing promises. We wanted a place with real, honest course reviews from people who actually use them.“
Who We Are
We call ourselves the Language Learning Team. We are a small editorial team that shares a real passion for learning languages. Most of us have experience with several languages, especially Scandinavian and European ones. We come from different backgrounds, but what connects us is a common interest: helping people navigate the confusing world of language courses.
None of us are professional teachers or linguists. We are learners. We have struggled with grammar, mispronounced words in front of native speakers, and spent money on courses that turned out to be disappointing. That experience is what shapes our content. We write from the perspective of someone who has been through the process and wants to make it easier for others.
What We Do
On Languagecorner.eu, we review and compare online language courses for over 80 languages. That includes popular languages like Spanish, French, and German, but also less commonly taught ones like Wolof, Dari, or Amharic.
For each language, we look at what courses are available, what they offer, how they are structured, and who they are best suited for. We pay attention to things like content quality, usability, price, and how the course feels in practice. Everything we publish is based on our own testing, not on promotional material from course providers.
Why This Site Exists
The language learning market is huge and growing fast. New apps and platforms pop up all the time, and each one claims to be the best. For learners, that makes it hard to know where to start and what to trust.
We built Languagecorner.eu to cut through the noise. We wanted to create a place where people can get clear, honest information about available courses, without the marketing speak. The idea is simple: save you time and help you pick a course that fits your level, your goals, and your budget.
How We Review Courses
We are not tied to any single course provider. Our recommendations are based on what we think works, not on who pays us the most. When we say a course is good, we mean it. When we point out problems, we do that because we think you should know before spending your money.
Our Focus
We cover a wide range of languages, but our team has particular experience with Scandinavian languages and the language learning scene in Northern Europe. Several of us have learned or are currently learning Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, and German. That gives us a deeper understanding of courses and resources in that space.
To go beyond what a general site can offer, we also run a small network of specialised sites for specific language combinations.
Our Network
The Language Learning Team publishes content on several sites, each built for a specific audience:
- Learn-Norwegian.info — for English speakers who want to learn Norwegian. Course reviews, learning tips, and practical guides.
- Spraklabb.info — for Swedish speakers looking for language courses in over 80 languages. All content in Swedish.
- Lär-Dig-Tyska.info — for Swedish speakers who want to learn German. Course reviews and tips in Swedish.
All sites are run by the same team and follow the same editorial principles.
How We Work
Every article on this site starts with research. We look at what courses exist for a given language, sign up where possible, work through lessons, and then write our assessment. When prices change, courses get updated, or new products enter the market, we go back and revise our content.
Reader feedback plays a big role in what we do. If you have used a course and want to share your experience, or if you spot something we got wrong, let us know. It helps us stay accurate and relevant.
„The best language course is the one you actually stick with. Our job is to help you find it.“
